About the role

Provide comprehensive flight training in various aircraft types, including but not limited to single-engine, multi-engine, and instrument-rated aircraft. Offer both ground and flight instruction tailored to meet individual student needs.

Responsibilities

• Teach students the fundamentals of aviation, including takeoffs, landings, and emergency procedures.
• Prepare students for FAA certification exams, covering PPL, CPL, IR, and other relevant ratings.
• Ensure all training sessions adhere to FAA guidelines and local regulations.
• Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
• Develop lesson plans that cater to different learning styles and abilities.
• Collaborate with other instructors and aviation professionals to enhance the quality of training.

Requirements

• A valid private pilot license (PPL).
• At least 1000 hours of total flying time.
• Current instrument rating (if applicable).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passing an aviation background check.

Qualifications

• Completion of a recognized flight school program.
• Experience teaching aviation subjects at the collegiate level.
• Knowledge of aviation laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
