About the role
Provide comprehensive flight training in various aircraft types, including but not limited to single-engine, multi-engine, and instrument-rated aircraft. Offer both ground and flight instruction tailored to meet individual student needs.
Responsibilities
- Teach students the fundamentals of aviation, including takeoffs, landings, and emergency procedures.
- Prepare students for FAA certification exams, covering PPL, CPL, IR, and other relevant ratings.
- Ensure all training sessions adhere to FAA guidelines and local regulations.
- Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
- Develop lesson plans that cater to different learning styles and abilities.
- Collaborate with other instructors and aviation professionals to enhance the quality of training.
Requirements
- A valid private pilot license (PPL).
- At least 1000 hours of total flying time.
- Current instrument rating (if applicable).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passing an aviation background check.
Qualifications
- Completion of a recognized flight school program.
- Experience teaching aviation subjects at the collegiate level.
- Knowledge of aviation laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
