About the Role

As a Belt Technician with Snake River Supply, you will perform a variety of duties within the shop, in the field, and at customer locations centered around installing, repairing, and replacing conveyor belts. This role allows you to learn a new trade and start a new career where your professional advancement is in your hands. You will report to the lead Belt Technician.

Responsibilities

• Execute duties related to a variety of shop work.
• Fabricate custom conveyor belting.
• Cut plastic sheeting.
• Commit to communicating, improving, and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.
• Complete all required paperwork (time sheets, service orders, forms, inventory, expense reports).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds often.
• Ability to work in tight spaces or at heights for an extended period.
• Ability to work a variety of schedules: overtime, on-call, and weekends if needed.
• Must be able to pass a background check and have a clean driving record.
• Ability to utilize a tape measure, hand/power tools, and some machines.
• Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
• Detail-oriented.
