About the role
Greet guests with a warm welcome at the hotel entrance and provide services related to the transportation and storage of luggage, along with other guest services.
Growth opportunities include advancing to Bell Captain, Guest Service Agent, Concierge, Guest Services Manager, Assistant General Manager, or General Manager.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload luggage carts
- Tag and store luggage
- Escort guests to hotel rooms
- Provide an overview of guest rooms, hotel services, and amenities
- Make deliveries to guest rooms
- Assist guests with room changes
- Stock pantry when necessary
- Maintain lists and brochures of local attractions, transportation guides, churches, sports arenas, etc.
- Perform house attendant functions during staff shortages
- Monitor and work to improve guest satisfaction scores
- Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM’s EarthView program
- Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment, and follow MSDS and OSHA standards
- Perform other duties as requested by management
Requirements
- High School diploma preferred
- Previous customer service experience required or equivalent training
- Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, push, lift up to 50 pounds, bend, and reach
