Bell Attendant (Part Time)

About the Role

The Bell Attendant assists guests with luggage during arrival and departure, makes necessary deliveries to and pick up from guest rooms, and transports guest and hotel packages and parcels.

What You Will Do

• Greet guests and escort them to their rooms
• Deliver luggage to room upon check-in and pick up luggage from room upon departure, moving luggage to storage or the Front Drive
• Maintain proper records of deliveries and pick-ups
• Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible
• Resolve customer complaints; assist customers in all inquiries related to hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, and similar matters
• Greet all guests passing through the lobby and offer assistance
• Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
• Perform shoeshine service: picking up shoes from guest rooms, cleaning and polishing them, and returning them to guests
• Perform errands for guests and the hotel that may require local travel off hotel property
• Provide a high level of cleanliness in the lobby and luggage storage room
• Assist guests at the Concierge Desk
• Assist with responsibilities and duties in the absence of or during heavy volume in the areas of Door Staff and Valet Staff
• Assist in coverage of Residential Front Office responsibilities and desk coverage

What You Bring

• A minimum of 1 year of hospitality or related work experience is preferred
• A valid driver's license and clean driving record
• High school education or equivalent experience
• Requires reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to multitask
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work irregular hours, weekends, and evenings
