Behavioral Technician (BT)

About the role

As a key part of a child's journey, you'll work 1:1 with children in their home or community, helping them build communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills that support greater independence and connection.

Responsibilities

• Supporting children during play, routines, learning activities, and everyday interactions
• Using positive reinforcement and relationship-based strategies to help children succeed
• Implementing personalized therapy goals developed by your Clinical Partner (BCBA)
• Helping children improve communication, emotional regulation, and social skills
• Collaborating with families and sharing progress in a clear, simple way
• Tracking session notes and bringing your own observations and ideas into care

Requirements

• Be a Behavior Technician or open to becoming one (we'll train you!)
• Live nearby and have reliable transportation
• Feel drawn to the idea that your presence could help a child build an entirely new life

Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is preferred but not required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Pass a background check
