Behavioral Specialist

About the role

MHM Solutions, a Centurion Health company, is seeking a full-time Behavioral Specialist to join their team at the Selinsgrove Center in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the assessment of capacity and needs of individuals residing at the center.
• Conduct behavioral assessments using tools such as the Vineland and Vanderbilt Assessment Scale.
• Develop and implement treatment plans and maintain detailed records.
• Create and monitor behavioral plans, providing individualized support during crisis situations.
• Analyze behaviors to identify triggers, frequencies, and consequences, and facilitate skill-building sessions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including psychiatry, PSS, RSA/RSAT, PSD, FD, and CDS.
• Support the transition of individuals from the state center to the community.

Qualifications

• Possesses a minimum of a master’s degree in education, psychology, social work, or a related field with an emphasis on behavioral support.
• Five (5) or more years of experience in service delivery to individuals with autism spectrum disorders (ASD), intellectual developmental disabilities (IDD), and dual diagnoses.
• Experience conducting behavioral assessments, specifically using the Vineland and Vanderbilt Assessment Scale.
