Key Responsibilities
- Lead state and facility-level implementation of behavioral health programs, ensuring workflows are adopted and executed consistently across assigned facilities.
- Support program launches by reinforcing expectations, identifying operational barriers, and helping facility teams meet program requirements.
- Conduct routine reviews of census, tier placement, documentation, and program performance to identify trends, resolve issues, and support program integrity.
- Cook behavioral meetings, ensuring program support and clinical teams are prepared with required materials, schedules, and support.
- Perform regular on-site facility visits to evaluate program performance, provide hands-on support, educate facility leadership and staff, and ensure alignment with program protocols.
- Lead rapid response efforts when workflow disruptions, documentation concerns, or escalations arise.
- Develop training tools, checklists, process improvements, and other resources that support scalable and consistent program execution.
- Support onboarding for new facilities joining the program, ensuring expectations, workflows, and operational requirements are clearly communicated.
- Manage operational system readiness and help remove technical or workflow barriers that may disrupt program execution.
- Participate in recurring program meetings with facility partners to review metrics and align priorities.
- Provide direct supervision, coaching, accountability, and performance support to assigned Behavior Coordinators and/or program support team members.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support program expansion, performance, and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in behavioral health, long-term care, healthcare operations, or program management.
- Previous work experience as a CNA or Social Services Experience leading programs across multiple facilities, regions, or markets.
- Prior experience supporting state behavioral health add-on programs preferred.
- Experience coordinating with multiple teams or clinicians preferred.
- Experience developing training resources, workflows, operational tools, or process improvement materials preferred.
- 3-5 years supervisory or team leadership experience required.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of behavioral health, clinical workflows, or regulatory standards in post-acute or long-term care settings.
- Proven ability to influence facility leadership, drive adoption, and support process change across multiple sites.
- Proven ability to analyze trends, metrics, documentation, and operational performance data.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, conflict-resolution, and training skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify barriers and implement sustainable solutions.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Proficiency with EHR systems, Microsoft Office, and other communication or workflow tools.
- Ability to travel regularly across assigned facilities.
