About the role
The State of Minnesota is seeking a clinical psychologist to lead a specialty team in behavioral health. The successful candidate will be part of a dedicated team of hospitalists, psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, and rehabilitation therapists, all of whom are devoted to the use of evidence-based practices and integrated, child-centered treatment.
Responsibilities
- Comprehensive psychological assessment
- Provide evidence-based individual, group, and family psychological treatment
- Incorporate assessment results with the broader treatment plan
- Participate and help lead patient treatment conferences
- Assist in risk assessment and management of suicidality and violence
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to manage and treat mental, behavioral, adjustment, and psychosocial disorders
- Engage in continuous improvement and excellence in the mental health care field
Requirements
- Ph.D. or Psy.D. in clinical psychology
- Licensed or license eligible Psychologists by the Minnesota Board of Psychology (LP)
- Completion of an APA approved internship demonstrating specialization in working with children and adolescents
- One year post-license experience

- Behavioral Medical Practitioner: $40.63 - $67.13 / hourly; $84,835 - $140,167 / annually
- Psychologist 3: $40.63 - $60.39 hourly; $84,835 - $126,094 / annually
