At Children’s Crisis Treatment Center (CCTC), our staff is dedicated to addressing the impact of childhood traumatic events and other challenges. The Behavioral Health Worker will support and follow through with treatment team recommendations in a fast paced environment and meet the needs of the children ages 5-13 and their families presenting with crisis and behavioral health issues in a trauma-informed manner. Summary Of Essential Functions Provide one-to-one or small group interventions to a child at schoolProvide crisis intervention techniques, immediate behavioral reinforcements, emotional support, and time structuring activities when neededAttend all required trainingsAttend mandatory supervision sessionsAttend daily case review and weekly case conferenceTransport clients, as neededConduct classroom observations, as neededCollect observational data, as neededParticipate in home visits, as neededAttend clinical meetings, IEP, and any other relevant meetings pertaining to client care Apply Now Requirements Bachelor’s degree in an area of behavioral/mental health services or related field. Minimum Of One Year Direct Care Experience With Children/adolescents. or Bachelor’s degree PLUS one (1) year verified full-time paid experience working in direct care with children/adolescents. or Associates degree or sixty (60) credits towards a bachelor’s degree, PLUS three (2) years verified full-time paid work experience working in direct care with children/adolescents.
