Responsibilities

• Improving mental wellness by providing both brief interventions and traditional therapy in a hybrid clinic model.
• Working collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, compassionate care.
• Participating in employee and community-based committees.
• Advocating for mental health awareness and access.
• Providing suicide prevention courses (if trained).
• Serving as a patient advocate and liaison with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Coordinating patient transitions into services and discharges from treatment.
• Coordinating care, admissions, and/or referrals with appropriate stakeholders.
• Completing progress notes and documentation in EMR for services provided to patient per department protocol.
• Providing individual, group, and family therapy, clinical case management, and outreach services.
• Participating in development of individual and/or group treatment plans utilizing a variety of brief psychotherapeutic, psychosocial and/or psychoeducational modalities.
• Engaging in crisis management as applicable.
• Mobilizing, utilizing, and coordinating a comprehensive range of community resources that effectively meet the identified patient and family needs.
• Complying with legal and regulatory laws, reporting, and practice standards within scope of practice.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology or related counseling field required.
• Current Montana LCSW, LCPC or LMFT licensure required.
• Minimum of 2 years of mental health counseling experience is preferred.
• CPR certification required as applicable to assigned area(s).
• Possess knowledge of evidence-based practice and experience in assessment, crisis assessment, brief therapies, and clinical case management preferred.
• Possess knowledge of cultural, ethnic, social, historical and spiritual issues relevant to the provision of mental health treatment as applicable to assigned area(s) preferred.
• Possess a working knowledge of: Psychiatry, Psychology, Social Work, Education, and/or Marriage and Families.
• Experience and/or knowledge of behavioral health disorders and treatment modalities.
• Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, a self-starter, possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently.
• Commitment to working in a team environment and maintaining confidentiality as needed.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
• Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed.

Qualifications
