About the role
Educates patients and families about behavioral health conditions and treatment options.
Maintains accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Participates in case conferences and team meetings to discuss patient care.
Provides crisis intervention and support as needed.
Engages in continuing education to stay current with best practices in behavioral health.
Responsibilities
- Skills necessary for individual, marital, family and group psychotherapy as well as other recognized treatment modalities.
- If not licensed to practice independently, applicant must currently be under supervision.
- History of Substance Abuse Diagnosis and Treatment [Preferred]
Requirements
- Education: Master's [Required] Field Of Study A minimum of an LPCC, LPCA, LCSW, MFTA, or LMFT is required in Mental Health Therapy/Counseling/Psychology
- Experience: 1+ full time experience providing clinical counseling as a lpcc, lpca, lcsw, mfta, or lmft [Required] 2+ full-time experience providing clinical counseling and/or mental health experience as a lpcc, lpca, lcsw, mfta, or lmft [Preferred]
- Experience with waiver-based services and/or home and community behavior therapy [Preferred]
Qualifications
- Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) [Required]
- Clinical Social Worker License (LCSW) [Preferred]
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) [Preferred]
