About the role
We are seeking a collaborative and compassionate Behavioral Health Technician (Night Shift) to join our dynamic residential team.
Responsibilities
- Aid clients with daily living activities and personal hygiene.
- Plan and lead individual and group therapeutic recreation activities.
- Obtain and document vital signs and patient information.
- Maintain vigilance over patient activities and behaviors, promptly reporting any changes to the assigned medical staff.
- Provide crisis intervention and employ supportive communication techniques.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Medical Assistant (MA) certification and/or an Associate’s Degree preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Tuberculosis Skin Test and Influenza (Flu) vaccination within the past year.
- Ability to work a 12-hour shift.
- Ability to frequently lift or move objects weighing up to 15 lbs.
