Behavioral Health Senior Clinical Nurse

About the role

This Senior Clinical Administrative Nurse role involves extensive outbound outreach, primarily engaging members via phone to assess needs, provide education, and promote clinical services. The position supports members with healthcare system navigation, care coordination, adverse determinations, discharge planning, and emergency department education.

The nurse collaborates with members, caregivers, providers, and internal teams to facilitate coordinated care and ensure accurate documentation of all activities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound outreach to members via phone to assess healthcare needs and provide education.
• Support members with healthcare system navigation and care coordination.
• Assist with adverse determinations, discharge planning, and emergency department education.
• Collaborate with members, caregivers, providers, and internal teams to facilitate coordinated care.
• Document all interactions and activities accurately.

Requirements

• Unrestricted RN license.
• Minimum of 2+ years of acute and behavioral health nursing experience.
• Basic computer skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Experience in case management, managed care, or utilization management.

Schedule

Weekday evenings and Saturdays. Remote work requires adherence to telecommuting policies.

Pay

Compensation ranges from $60,200 to $107,400 annually, supplemented by benefits and incentives.
