About the role
We are a young clients, ages 2-5 program that works with kids with autism. We use ABA to help them build skills for life.
Responsibilities
- Teach ABA techniques to kids
- Help kids make progress in areas like talking, walking, using the toilet, and interacting with others
- Work with parents to continue progress at home
- Train parents in ABA techniques
- Participate in training to become an RBT
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working with children, especially those with autism
- Willingness to play on the floor, run after and with kids, and change diapers
- Desire to learn ABA techniques and use a tablet to record data
- Tech-savvy
- Outgoing, positive, and enthusiastic personality
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
