Behavioral Health Intern - Integrated Care Training

About the Role

This internship at a community health center focuses on integrated behavioral health services within medical settings, offering hands-on experience in interdisciplinary care.

Responsibilities

• Participate in interdisciplinary teams providing "whole person" care.
• Engage in evidence-based, culturally responsive practices.
• Attend weekly didactic sessions covering topics such as rapport building, therapeutic techniques, risk assessment, and trauma-informed care.
• Gain experience in individual and family therapy, assessment, diagnosis (DSM & ICD-10), and safety planning.

Requirements

• Enrollment in an MSW program.
• Ability to commit to 20-24 hours weekly.
• Interest in behavioral health, culturally responsive practices, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Pay

$12,880 for 20 hours/week (1st year) or $16,000 for 24 hours/week (2nd year).
