Behavioral Health Driver (Part Time)

About the role

Pyramid Healthcare New River Valley is seeking a part-time Driver to safely transport clients to and from appointments and other destinations while providing a professional, supportive experience. Drivers play an important role in helping clients access the care they need and are often one of the first team members clients meet face-to-face. This position offers a consistent schedule with company vehicles and gas cards provided.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport clients to and from designated locations
• Maintain a professional, respectful, and supportive environment during transportation
• Assist with client safety and supervision while traveling
• Maintain required transportation documentation
• Respond appropriately to emergency situations
• Follow all safety, training, and organizational requirements

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License – Required
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and comfortable transporting people
• Previous transportation experience is a plus, including:
  • NEMT / medical transportation
  • Uber or Lyft
  • Delivery or route-driving experience
  • Passenger transportation
  • Other professional driving experience
• High school diploma/GED and healthcare or EMS experience are a plus, but not required

Part-time; Monday, Wednesday & Saturday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
