Behavioral Health Counselor/Therapist

Are you a dedicated and experienced Counselor with a passion for assisting individuals on their journey towards recovery? We’re looking for a proactive and compassionate Counselor to join our treatment team, contribute to dynamic counseling environments, and help shape the future of our therapeutic programs.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct group therapy sessions and patient intake assessments based on clinic needs and best‑practice guidelines.
• Provide crisis and de‑escalation techniques.
• Assist with treatment planning and review progress toward treatment plan goals.
• Coordinate patient care with the onsite multidisciplinary team and attend required staff and multidisciplinary meetings.
• Document all treatment data promptly and comprehensively in the electronic patient health record.
• Maintain adherence to regulatory and company compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Required: 1+ year of experience in a relevant field; Preferred: 2+ years of experience.
• Required: Education consistent with state‑level regulation and requirements; Preferred: Bachelor’s degree.
• Required: Active entry‑level clinical certification or licensure consistent with state‑level regulatory requirements (e.g., CSAC‑S).

• Highly empathetic and compassionate to support patients’ recovery journeys.
• Team‑player able to collaborate in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
• Adaptable and agile within a dynamic work environment.
• Technologically capable; comfortable operating multiple communication and documentation systems; familiarity with MS Office (Outlook, Teams, Word) preferred.

• Prior experience with harm reduction is a plus.
