About the role

The full-time, exempt Behavioral Health Clinician at Honor Community Health is a key member of a high-performing healthcare team. Reporting to the Supervisor, Behavioral Health, this role provides clinical behavioral health services to ensure a professional, skilled program of care and treatment is administered.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical behavioral health services to underserved populations in Oakland County.
  • Adhere to Honor Community Health (HCH) policies and procedures.
  • Maintain strong internal and external relationships, serving as a liaison on behalf of HCH's centers.
  • Create and maintain a culture of excellence and dedication to providing compassionate and high-quality behavioral health care.
  • Work collaboratively to improve patient health outcomes, satisfaction, and operational and financial capacity.
  • Meet productivity expectations of an average of 7 or more behavioral health consultations/counseling per clinical day.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in social work, or related field
  • 2 years' experience with mental health
  • Current license to practice in Michigan as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Limited License Psychologist, License Professional Counselor, Doctoral degree in psychology
  • Knowledge of primary care and health center integration is strongly recommended
  • Maintain BLS certification
  • CAABC/ Substance use experience is preferred

Schedule

This is a school-based position with hours between 7am-4pm, depending on the school's schedule.
