This 30-hour position is based at MaineHealth Obstetrics & Gynecology-Rockport on the Pen Bay Hospital campus. The practice has a well-established integrated care model and highly values its partnership with behavioral health clinicians.Team members work collaboratively to improve patient outcomes while reducing barriers to care.By providing behavioral health services within the medical setting, patients often feel more comfortable accessing support andparticipatingin treatment. Responsibilities In this role, you will provide screenings, assessments, and brief evidence-based interventions for practice patients. Services may include individual, family, and group treatment.Additionalresponsibilities include: Providing consultation and support to medical providersConnecting patients with community resources and support servicesParticipating in population health initiatives that promote the wellbeing of targeted patient groupsCollaborating with the care team to support integrated treatment planning Experience or interest in treating substance use disorders is preferred. The key responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct care through individual, group, and family therapy sessions. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSAs) Education: Master’s degree in social work, Clinical Counseling, Addiction Treatment, or related fieldLicense/Certifications: Licensed LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT from the respective licensing board of the State of Maine Office of Professional and Occupational Regulation (OPOR)Experience: At least two years of behavioral health experience including employment as a conditionally licensed clinician.
