Position Summary
The Partial/Intensive Outpatient Programs Behavioral Health Clinician - IRP 2 position is a clinical and education position, including, but not limited to:
- Provide comprehensive diagnostic evaluation for patients with mental health complaints referred to OSU Harding Hospital Partial/IOPs.
- Provide counseling/psychotherapy/psychoeducation to group and individuals with mental & behavioral disorders to facilitate return to previous or improved functioning.
- Services provided include group psychotherapy, individual psychotherapy, and/or couple/family therapy.
- Formulate individualized treatment plans to assist patients to determine and meet treatment goals.
- Other duties include advocating within local community if needed; work as part of clinical team; maintain third-party payer relationships; and complete all necessary paperwork (e.g., disability, FMLA).
Minimum Qualifications For Hire
- Master’s Degree in Social Work or Counseling or related field;
- Experience working with patients with mental illness and/or substance use disorders is also required;
- Experience and/or training in at least one evidence-based psychotherapy modality (e.g., cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy) is preferred;
- Ongoing: Maintain licensure(s), credentials, and CBLs. Practice within the parameters of the Ohio Counselor and Social Work Board, Ohio Chemical Dependency Professional Board.
- Training in at least one evidence-based psychotherapy modality (e.g., cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal psychotherapy) will be required.
