The Charge Nurse is proficient in the care of a patient population utilizing effective managerial skills. The Charge Nurse Is Responsible For:

Responsibilities

• Acting as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team.
• Developing self and team members and sharing organizational information.

Requirements

• Required Certifications and Licensures: BLS (Basic Life Support), RN (Registered Nurse), Nurse Specialty - preferred.
• Education: Bachelor's in Nursing - Required or approved psych certification obtained within 7 months of hire.
• Experience: 2 year RN in an Acute Care Setting, 1 year of leadership experience - Preferred.
