Behavioral Health Case Manager-Inpatient

Make a difference in the lives of individuals with mental health and substance abuse challenges as a Behavioral Case Manager in the Consumer Services Department at Griffin Memorial Hospital (GMH).

About the role

Provide clinical services, telehealth and in-person support, screenings, and referrals to consumers and their families. Help establish and maintain a treatment-focused environment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver clinical services and support to individuals with mental health and substance abuse challenges.
  • Conduct screenings and provide referrals for consumers in need.
  • Offer telehealth and in-person support.
  • Ensure 24/7 coverage through availability for weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
  • Travel for job-related needs as required.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing (safety-sensitive position).

Qualifications

Behavioral Case Manager I: High School Diploma, GED, or HSE Credential with six (6) months of behavioral health experience.

Behavioral Case Manager II: One of the following:

  • Thirty-six (36) months of direct experience working with persons with mental illness and/or substance use disorder, plus a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Sixty (60) college credit hours and twelve (12) months of direct experience working with persons with mental illness and/or substance use disorder.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any field with six (6) months of direct experience working with persons with mental illness and/or substance use disorder.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a behavioral health-related field.
  • Current license as a registered nurse in Oklahoma with documented behavioral health care experience.

Senior Behavioral Case Manager II: Same qualifications as Behavioral Case Manager II, plus two (2) additional years of case management experience.

Pay

Annual salary range: $47,750 - $49,500, plus shift differentials based on education and experience.

Schedule

  • Full-time, shift-based position (8-hour shifts, Monday–Friday).
  • Primary work hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
