About the role
An entry-level direct care position within a multidisciplinary treatment team, utilizing crisis and de-escalation intervention practices as needed.
Responsibilities
- Identify client characteristics and environmental variables that may trigger agitated behavior and communicate this information to the Administrative Team.
- Perform observation and monitoring of clients on a one-to-one basis.
- Communicate clearly with residents and the clinical team or other staff, as required.
- Maintain patience and professionalism in high-stress situations.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma and 2 years of work experience, or an Associates Degree, or satisfactory equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- A minimum of a High School Diploma or G.E.D.
