Behavioral Health Associate
Starting Pay rate: $17.00 - 19.00 per hour
Location: 4800 Sugar Grove Blvd., Stafford, Texas, 77477
Shift Availability: Multiple Shifts Available!

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful, supportive relationships with clients, maintaining professional boundaries while assisting with their daily needs and activities.
• Review and apply treatment team strategies daily to drive client progress and ensure effective intervention.
• Utilize advanced de-escalation techniques and crisis management training to support clients, ensuring a calm and safe environment.
• Embrace a caregiver role with empathy and intentionality, fostering attuned relationships and providing constructive feedback to support client growth.
• Contribute to a clean and welcoming environment by managing campus upkeep, supporting clients with chores, and addressing maintenance issues promptly.
• Maintain thorough and precise documentation of client interactions and staff interventions to ensure consistent and effective care.
• Hold yourself to professional standards, communicate effectively, adhere to policies, and manage time off while avoiding unauthorized overtime.

Qualifications

• Age: 21 years of age or older
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent, Associates or bachelor's in human services, psychology, criminal justice, or related field preferred.
• Skills: Quick decision-making skills and a growth mindset with a focus on Embarks core values.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience working with adolescent populations preferred.
• Certifications: CPR and First Aid certification preferred, will provide training.
• Physical Intervention: Must be willing and able to participate in physical interventions (e.g., therapeutic holds) when necessary, following all safety protocols and trauma-informed practices.
• Physical Readiness: Comfortable with physically active work, including standing, walking, and engaging in interventions as part of a team-based safety approach.
