Behavioral Health Assistant - Residential Part-Time

Responsibilities

• Perform hourly building rounds to ensure patient safety.
• Complete room searches throughout the facility.
• Administer toxicology screenings.
• Supervise wellness and family group activities.
• Guide patients through the challenges of recovery.
• Transport patients to medical appointments or other facilities and back as needed.

Requirements

• An Associate’s degree and 1 year of behavioral health or healthcare work experience required.
• -or-
• A High School Diploma or equivalent with 2 years of behavioral health or healthcare work experience required.
• A clean, valid, NYS driver’s license, and three years of driving experience as a licensed driver.

Qualifications

• Physical demands associated with this position include: Stationary posture with frequent standing/sitting alternation.
• Mobility between nearby worksites and within facilities.
• Mobility required involving repetitive wrist, hand, and finger movements.
• Handling light duties, moving objects up to 20 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Occasional operation of company owned motor vehicles.

Pay

The range of pay for this position is $18.82 - $19.50. Starting pay may be impacted based on experience and education. You’ll earn an additional 25% shift differential for any work hours that fall between the hours of 7pm-7am. Compensation adjustments are evaluated annually.

Schedule

This position is part-time, from Friday - Monday 7:00am - 3:00pm.
