About the role
Our team is growing and we are searching for a dedicated and energetic Full-time Behavioral Health Assistant.
Responsibilities
- Provide monitoring and assistance for each person served.
- Maintains daily operations of the program and facility.
- Ensures medical needs of members are met through observation of medication and proper documentation.
- Attends medical appointments and follows all policies and procedures relating to med administration policies of the agency.
- Follows doctors' orders.
- Ensures each member has the opportunity to engage in sober community activities at the discretion of the Clinical Supervisor.
- Oversee the daily events, meals, bedtimes of clients and their children.
- Facilitate Life Skills Group as indicated on the treatment schedule.
- Avoidance of new admits having substance abuse, mental health screenings as directed by funding source and credentialing.
- On Call Phone Duties.
Requirements
- Associated Degree with a minimum of two (2) years of full-time experience.
- Minimum of one (1) year of supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of co-occurring disorders.
- Knowledge of IDPH requirements for operating a residential substance abuse facility.
- Must have a valid driver's license, a good driving record and show proof of auto insurance.
