About the role

The Behavioral Health ARNP at Coulee Medical Center is a vital member of the collaborative care team. They provide expert nursing care for patients with medical and behavioral health needs, conducting physical and mental assessments, laboratory tests, crisis interventions, and developing and implementing treatment plans. The role requires knowledge of a wide range of disorders including cognitive, emotional, developmental, social, and behavioral issues.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with medical and behavioral health needs
  • Conduct physical and mental assessments
  • Provide crisis intervention and therapeutic treatments
  • Collaborate with provider teams in Rural Health Clinics
  • Support various clinical teams to ensure quality care

Requirements

  • Current license to practice as an advanced practice nurse with psychiatric mental health specialty, issued by the state of Washington
  • Graduate of an accredited Behavioral Health ARNP program, or a licensed FNP with at least five (5) years’ current experience and training in behavioral healthcare
  • Certifications as outlined in the Medical Staff By-laws

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of a wide range of disorders including cognitive, emotional, developmental, social, and behavioral issues
  • Ability to work collaboratively with provider teams
  • Experience in providing comprehensive care for patients with medical and behavioral health needs

Skills

  • Strong clinical skills in psychiatric and mental health care
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to manage complex cases and provide holistic care

Pay
