About the Role

Novant Health Medical Group is seeking a compassionate, caring Behavioral Health Advanced Practice Provider to deliver primary healthcare and perform selective medical services under the direction of practice physicians.

Responsibilities

  • Provide primary healthcare and perform selective medical services under the direction of practice physicians.
  • Work in both physician practice and hospital settings.
  • Successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing.
  • Collaborate with the management team and physicians.
  • Demonstrate strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Requirements

  • Graduate Degree (required).
  • Physician Assistant Certificate or Nurse Practitioner Certificate (required).
  • Master of Science in Nursing or Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies.
  • Three years of experience (required), including experience in both physician practice and hospital settings.

Qualifications

  • Current PA/NP license in the appropriate state (required).
  • NCCPA (for PAs) or ANCC (for NPs) Certification (required).
  • BLS and DEA Registry (required).
