Behavioral Consultant/Mobile Therapist FT and PT
The Challenge
Develop treatment plan involving integration from various sources with regular data-driven updates
Direct child or adolescent's treatment program including consultation/intervention utilizing behavioral management techniques; regular meetings and consultation with child/adolescent and family and other treatment team members
Track client progress through organization, review, and charting of data collected by treatment team members about frequency, intensity, and duration of targeted behaviors and positive replacement behaviors
Determine clinical need for special evaluation and services such as medication assessment by a psychiatrist, psychological testing, or other services
Collaborate with child and family and other involved professionals to develop daily routines during times of crisis and transition and a 24-hour crisis plan
What You Need to Be Successful
- Passion for patient care and a desire to make positive change in someone's life
- Proficiency in Excel, MS Word and ability to learn and efficiently utilize other computer applications
- Must possess or have ability to obtain Act 33, Act 34 and FBI clearances
- Valid PA Driver's license
- Be licensed in this Commonwealth as a behavior specialist or;
Have a certification as a BCBA or other accredited graduate level certification in behavior analysis or;
Have a degree in ABA or;
Have a minimum of 1 year of FT experience in providing mental health direct services to children, youth or young adults and a graduate degree in psychology, social work, counseling or education from an accredited college or university or;
Completed a clinical or mental health direct service practicum and have a graduate degree in psychology, social work, counseling or education from an accredited college or university - Professional Licensure (LBS, LPC, LSW, LCSW, LMFT) or licensed eligible
