About the Role
The Therapeutic Behavioral Aide provides direct behavioral support and skill development to individuals with developmental, behavioral, or emotional challenges, fostering independence and improving quality of life through compassionate, client-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Deliver one-on-one behavioral interventions
- Promote social and community skills
- Assist in developing appropriate behaviors
- Support group and individual activities
- Collaborate with treatment teams and families
- Ensure client safety
- Document progress accurately
- Participate in team trainings
- Maintain compliance with policies and standards
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED (Associate's degree preferred)
- Experience in human services is a plus
- Valid driver’s license with vehicle insurance if transporting clients
- Certifications in CPR/First Aid, NCI, and Bloodborne Pathogen (or willingness to obtain)
