Registered Behavior Technician
Responsibilities
- Implement behavior intervention plans developed by the BCBA, including positive reinforcement techniques and data collection.
- Work one-on-one with clients in various settings, including homes, schools, and community environments.
- Monitor client progress and adjust strategies as needed while following established protocols.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of client behavior and progress.
- Collaborate with families and other team members to provide consistent support and communication.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current in the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Uphold the ethical guidelines set forth by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
Requirements
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with active certification preferred, but willing to offer course and training to earn the RBT certification.
- A high school diploma required; a bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to making a difference in the lives of clients.

- Part-Time hours desired: Monday through Friday and every other Saturday morning (9 AM - 1 PM).
- Clinic Hours: 8 am to 6:30 pm Monday through Friday, Saturday 9 AM - 1 PM.
