Behavior Therapist / RBT - $21/HR - $24/HR - East Valley/South Scottsdale

About the role

Behavior Therapists are an integral part of the SARRC team! Our Behavior Therapists spend their days connecting and including individuals with autism in their homes, schools, jobs and communities using the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA).

Responsibilities

• Connect and include individuals with autism in their homes, schools, jobs and communities using the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA)
• Collaborate and communicate with peers to implement treatment plans
• Show a compassionate approach to care and flexibility to roll with changes to meet the needs of our clients
• Eager for knowledge and like to inquire, research and ask questions
• Comfortable using different technologies and software programs, as well as data collection applications

Requirements

• Registered Behavior Technician certification is required within 30 days of employment
• Prolonged Standing & Movement: Ability to stand, walk, and move dynamically around the classroom and playground for extended periods
• Lifting & Transferring: Ability to safely lift, position, and transfer moderate amounts of weight as needed, and assist in crisis management or transition support
• Bending, Squatting, Kneeling: Frequent ability to bend, squat, kneel, or sit on the floor to interact with children at their level

Pay

$500 sign-on bonus for RBTs! Starting at $21/hr Potential for additional compensation for meeting weekly clinical hour requirements!

Full-time, Monday - Friday; 8am - 6pm
