Primary Responsibility
Assist the client and their families in progress toward specific goals by working one-on-one with the client. Work cohesively with the Administrative and clinical staff involved with the client’s treatment plan. Provide services to individuals impacted by a variety of behavioral health (addiction/substance use and mental health) issues, recognizing that the individuals we serve often times have experienced trauma that affects their development and adjustment.
Responsibilities
- Performing intensive interventions with children with autism within the methodology of Applied Behavior Analysis.
- Implementing plans to reduce challenging behavior.
- Receiving weekly or bi-monthly supervision.
- Collecting and maintaining data.
- Report writing as required.
- Teaching and coaching of family members, caregivers, etc. as assigned.
- Completing billing forms/documentation as required.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged sitting, frequent standing, bending, stooping.
- Requires normal range of hearing and manual dexterity sufficient to operate keyboard, telephone, photocopier, calculator, and other office equipment as needed.
- Requires ability to work under stressful conditions and to work irregular hours and deal with irate individuals.
- May require evening and weekend hours.
