Behavior Technician/Therapist (BT)
About the Role
Join us in Creating a Colorful Beginning! At Kaleidoscope ABA, we value innovation, creativity, and the power of applied behavior analysis therapy for children with autism. We are seeking compassionate individuals to work as Behavioral Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide direct treatment and ABA therapy under the supervision of a BCBA clinician. This is a permanent, center-based position in Pennsauken, NJ.
Responsibilities
- Work one-on-one with children to carry out their individualized treatment plans.
- Engage with children on the floor or standing for long periods, following, pushing/pulling equipment, lifting, bending, kneeling, crouching, and crawling as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience with children (ABA preferred).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically capable of meeting the demands of the job, including long periods of standing, sitting, and engaging in various physical activities with children.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children, preferably in an ABA setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
