Behavior Technician (RBT) - West Reading, PA

About the role

Join Helping Hands Family (HHF) as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and provide personalized, play-based ABA therapy to help children with autism reach their developmental milestones.

What You'll Be Doing

• Provide 1-on-1 direct care to children with autism in clinics, at home, or in the community
• Teach daily living and social skills using evidence-based treatments and positive reinforcement
• Implement therapy sessions designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Accurately collect behavior data and collaborate with your team to support each child's progress

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor's degree in a human services area preferred)
• Comfort working with children
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as walking, running, and lifting (up to 50 pounds)
• Strong communication skills for interacting with clients' families
• Reliable transportation
• Willingness to complete company-provided RBT training and pass the RBT exam within 90 days of hire

Pay

Base Salary Range: $19 USD - $20.16 USD
