**Behavior Technician (RBT) - Harrisburg, PA

About the role

Join Helping Hands Family (HHF) as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide personalized, play‑based ABA therapy for children with autism, helping them reach developmental milestones.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1‑on‑1 direct care to children with autism in clinics, at home, or in the community.
• Teach daily living and social skills using evidence‑based treatments and positive reinforcement.
• Implement therapy sessions designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Accurately collect behavior data and collaborate with the team to support each child’s progress.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor’s degree in a human services area preferred).
• Comfort working with children.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as walking, running, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with clients’ families.
• Reliable transportation.
• Willingness to complete company‑provided RBT training and pass the RBT exam within 90 days of hire.

Pay

• Base salary range: $19.94 USD – $21.15 USD.
• 20 % pay differential for client‑facing sessions that go past 6 pm or for Saturday sessions.
