About the role

Bierman Autism Centers is seeking a Behavior Technician/ABA Therapist to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for those with a passion for transforming the lives of children and families, and a desire to learn and grow in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 therapy sessions with children aged 2-12 with autism or developmental delays
  • Implement and modify behavior support plans as directed by the Behavior Analyst
  • Collect and document data during therapy sessions
  • Communicate with parents and caregivers about client progress
  • Assist the Behavior Analyst in organizing and preparing client materials
  • Maintain and expand functional and technical knowledge through required trainings
  • Prepare for and take the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) exam
  • Foster a positive and engaging work environment

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • College degree preferred
  • Basic computer skills for data collection and session documentation
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
  • Willingness to restrain, hold, and transport clients as needed
  • Manual dexterity for specific computer and electronic device functions
  • Visual acuity to read and comprehend written communication
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and be detail-oriented
  • Experience working with children in a therapeutic setting
  • Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)

Qualifications

  • Current CPR certification
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (for travel to centers)
  • Pass a background check and drug screening

Pay

Competitive pay starting at $18-$20.50 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Full-time, 40-hour workweeks from 8:15 am to 4:45 pm, Monday through Friday.
