Behavior Technician (BT) (Full Time and Part-Time)

About the role

Behavior Technicians provide one-on-one ABA services to children in clinic-based settings. Services are delivered under the guidance of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and focus on building communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

Responsibilities

  • Implement behavior and skill acquisition plans developed by a BCBA
  • Provide direct one-on-one ABA therapy
  • Collect session data and complete documentation
  • Manage challenging behaviors per treatment plans
  • Collaborate with families and treatment team
  • Communicate session updates to the BCBA
  • May work in more than one clinic location

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Willing to complete RBT training and obtain certification within 3 months
  • Able to work effectively with children
  • Flexible, adaptable, and eager to learn
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Available to work Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM; Saturday 8:00 AM- 1:30 PM

Qualifications

  • Requires standing, movement, and lifting up to 25 lbs.

Skills

  • Strong observational and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to individualized learning plans
  • Knowledge of ABA principles and techniques
