About the role
Behavior Technicians provide one-on-one ABA services to children in clinic-based settings. Services are delivered under the guidance of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and focus on building communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.
Responsibilities
- Implement behavior and skill acquisition plans developed by a BCBA
- Provide direct one-on-one ABA therapy
- Collect session data and complete documentation
- Manage challenging behaviors per treatment plans
- Collaborate with families and treatment team
- Communicate session updates to the BCBA
- May work in more than one clinic location
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Willing to complete RBT training and obtain certification within 3 months
- Able to work effectively with children
- Flexible, adaptable, and eager to learn
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to pass a background check
- Available to work Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM; Saturday 8:00 AM- 1:30 PM
Qualifications
- Requires standing, movement, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
