Compensation

  • Hourly pay: $20 - $24/hour (once RBT-Certified)
  • Paid Training: $15.16/hour until certified
  • Performance bonuses: Up to $1,200 annually based on attendance and note completion

Your Responsibilities

  • Support children with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and other developmental challenges using evidence-based ABA interventions
  • Implement personalized behavior plans designed by BCBAs® to build essential life skills and reduce challenging behaviors
  • Use discrete trial teaching and natural environment teaching techniques to promote child growth and independence
  • Collect precise behavioral data and maintain comprehensive session notes using technology
  • Collaborate with ABA team members and multidisciplinary providers (OT, PT, SLP) to support skill mastery
  • Respond to feedback and communicate effectively with team members and families
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay current with best practices

Qualifications

  • Required: At least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Reliable transportation to travel between client homes and the clinic; mileage reimbursement provided for in-home care
  • Passion for working with children and making a difference
  • Preferred: BLS for Healthcare Providers/CPR certification
  • Experience working with children with developmental disabilities
  • RBT certification or 40-hour RBT training completion

Physical Requirements

  • The job requires the ability to sit for 1-2 hours and stand or walk for 4-6 hours daily.
  • Frequent bending and occasionally carrying, lifting, pulling, pushing, and reaching, each up to one-third of the time.
  • Precise motor function with both hands is needed, and lifting up to 50 pounds may be required up to one-third of the time.
