Responsibilities
- Assist children and/or adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and developmental delays in developing social, communication, and behavioral skills
- Document progress and milestones accurately
- Implement behavior change plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
Qualifications & Skills
- Passion for working with children with special needs
- Strong communication skills
- High School diploma or equivalent
- At least 18 years old
- Completion of college coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, or human development, or minimum one year of relevant experience such as Child Development, Camp Counselor, Paraprofessional, ABA Therapist, or Behavior Technician
The role involves supporting behavioral development through tailored interventions, documenting progress, and adhering to plans created by licensed professionals. The position requires a compassionate, communicative individual with relevant educational or experiential background, dedicated to improving the lives of those with behavioral health challenges.
