About the role

Looking for a job where you can make a real difference in a child’s life? Do you love working with kids and want to start a meaningful career in behavioral health? Join Advanceable ABA as a Behavior Technician (BT) and be part of a supportive team that empowers children with autism to thrive — one session at a time.

This is a home-based ABA therapy position. Services are delivered in the child’s home; you’ll be working in the natural environment where children learn and grow best.

Benefits

  • Supportive, friendly team that genuinely cares
  • Real mentorship and supervision from experienced BCBAs
  • Flexible part-time or full-time scheduling
  • Work that matters — help children build communication, play, and life skills
  • Growth opportunities as you develop your ABA career

Responsibilities

As a Behavior Technician (BT), you’ll deliver 1:1 in-home ABA therapy under the guidance of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You’ll help children with autism reach important goals — while staying engaged, playful, and active.

  • Work directly with children to implement individualized ABA treatment plans
  • Track progress through accurate session data and notes
  • Communicate with families and your clinical team to support success
  • Stay physically active during sessions — sitting, squatting, playing, running, etc.

Requirements

  • Passion for working with children and helping others grow
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • 1+ year of experience with kids or individuals with special needs (preferred)
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (required)
  • Strong communication, patience, and professionalism

Training & Certification Support

We provide paid onboarding training and a 40-hour RBT course. You’ll be mentored and supervised every step of the way. No RBT certification yet? No problem — we’ll help you get there!

Schedule

Part-time and full-time Behavior Technician (BT) positions available. Afternoon and after-school sessions (Monday–Friday; weekends as needed). 15–25+ hours per week depending on your availability and client needs.

Pay

Hourly Pay Range: $22–$26/hour (based on experience; higher pay available upon RBT certification). Additional perks include paid training, flexible scheduling, increased pay when you become a certified RBT, paid time off (PTO), license/certification support, and employee referral bonuses.
