Behavior Technician

About the role

As a Behavior Technician, you’ll work one-on-one with children with autism, using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy and play to build communication, confidence, and independence.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized ABA therapy sessions
• Implement and modify treatment plans based on child progress
• Collaborate with a supportive team to ensure consistent care
• Track and document client progress
• Adapt therapy techniques to meet the unique needs of each child

Requirements

• At least 18 years old on your first day of employment
• Ability to pass a background check
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Reliable transportation
• State-specific RBT requirements (see below)

Qualifications

• Experience with ABA therapy is not required; paid training will be provided
• Strong interpersonal skills and patience
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with autism

Pay & Perks

• Hourly rate: $20 and up based on ABA experience/training

Physical Requirements

Location Specific Requirements

• Illinois, Indiana, Nevada, North Carolina: RBT required before working with clients
• Northern California, Maryland, New Mexico, Virginia: RBT required within 90 days of hire
• Massachusetts, New Hampshire: RBT required before working with clients
