Behavior Technician After School ABA Services

About the role

One Step Forward is hiring Behavior Technicians to provide one-on-one in-home ABA therapy for children in Fair Lawn, North Bergen, Guttenberg, West New York, Montvale, and surrounding Bergen/Hudson County communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one in-home ABA therapy sessions
• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Teach communication, social, play, adaptive, and daily living skills
• Implement behavior intervention and skill acquisition programs
• Collect session data and complete electronic documentation
• Work closely with supervising BCBA to support each child's progress

Requirements

• Experience working with children
• Experience as a Behavior Technician, ABA Therapist, Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT), paraprofessional, teacher's aide, childcare provider, or in behavioral health is a plus
• Reliable transportation
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Dependable, professional, and eager to learn

Qualifications

• Experience working with children
• Experience as a Behavior Technician, ABA Therapist, Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT), paraprofessional, teacher's aide, childcare provider, or in behavioral health is a plus
• Reliable transportation
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Dependable, professional, and eager to learn

Skills

• Experience in ABA, special education, childcare, behavioral health, or as a paraprofessional

• Sessions take place in Fair Lawn, North Bergen, Guttenberg, West New York, Montvale, and nearby Bergen/Hudson County communities
• We make every effort to schedule therapists with families in the same general area when possible to help reduce travel time
