About the role

Ruth Fisher Middle School is seeking a Behavior Technician for a 3rd - 6th grade Positive Behavior Supports Classroom.

Responsibilities

• Supports students in implementing positive behavior interventions and supports
• Assists in creating and maintaining a safe and positive learning environment
• Participates in data collection and analysis related to student behavior
• Works collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and other staff members

Requirements

• Associates degree, equivalent, or ability to pass the paraprofessional assessment
• Experience working with children in a school setting preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for supporting students' social-emotional development
