Behavior Support Specialist

About the role

Northeast Family Services is a premier mental health provider with over 20 years of experience providing services to children, youth, and families. We close at 12:30 pm every Friday from Memorial Day through Labor Day (Summer Fun Fridays) to give the team more time to relax and recharge.

Behavior Support Specialists provide psychoeducation and rehabilitative supports in a client’s home for the purpose of treating a youth’s behavioral health needs. We utilize multiple evidence-based practices that promote a family's strengths.

Language Differential provided for Spanish, Chinese, Korean, Russian and Hindi!

Responsibilities

• Provide psychoeducation and rehabilitative supports in clients’ homes
• Treat youth behavioral health needs using evidence-based practices
• Promote family strengths and positive outcomes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related human services field
• Bilingual preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with children, youth, and families in a home or community setting preferred
• Valid driver’s license
• Access to high-speed secured internet required

Pay

• Full-time salary: $40,000 – $50,000
• Fee-for-service: $25–$30 per hour
