Write behavior support plans, monitoring plans, and behavior guidelines.
Review and document behavior plans semi-annually.
Prepare behavior data for psychiatry appointments.
Maintain contact with mental health professionals and provide updates.
In-service behavior plans at staff meetings.
Update and file required paperwork.
Provide monthly Human Rights Committee updates.
Become trained to teach SCIP-R/PROMOTE class, as assigned.
Attend behavior team, clinical, life plan, IDT, intake/pre-admission, and staff meetings.
Complete residential and day hab visits/observations.
Provide consultations for non-caseload individuals.
Maintain communication with program planning teams.
Provide on-call support for direct support staff.
Administer assessments and evaluations.
Develop and maintain professional competency through education.

Level 2: National board certification in behavioral analysis (BCBA) or New York state license as a Behavior Analyst (LBA), Master’s degree in a clinical or treatment field, or New York State license in Mental Health Counseling, and specialized training or experience in functional assessment techniques and behavioral support plan development.
Level 1: Master’s degree in a clinical or treatment field, national board certification in behavior analysis (BCBA) or NYS license as a Behavior Analyst (LBA), or a Master's degree in behavior analysis or a closely related field, and at least 3 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.

$61,000 - $64,000 annually.
