Behavior Intervention Specialist Level II Plainview location 11hrs per week flex - evenings- Nassau County

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from a program in a clinical or treatment field of psychology, social work, school psychology, or applied psychology required.

Primary duties and responsibilities

• Provide services designed to maximize the intellectual, social, and emotional development and functioning of individuals receiving services under the supervision of an Assistant Director of Psychology, BCBA and Ph.D. licensed psychologist
• Provide support to and training on Positive Behavior Supports for adults with ID/DD
• Behavior Intervention Specialist for Residential Program
• Promotes the agency’s mission statement in every interaction
• Provide ongoing support to people in becoming active participants in every aspect of their lives and to ensure that a high quality of life is maintained
