Behavior Health Tech- Full-Time 1st Shift

About the role

Behavior Health Techs provide direct care services to people with behavioral challenges as a result of brain injury. They implement facility-wide behavioral training and individual behavioral protocols, assist residents with ADLs, and complete various documentation tasks.

Responsibilities

• Implements facility wide behavioral training as well as individual behavioral protocols, completing the necessary documentation
• Models appropriate behavior, provides positive reinforcement and corrective feedback on a daily basis
• Affords assistance in ADLs including bathing, transfers, toileting and physical assistance
• Participates in physical, vocational and recreational activities
• Transports residents to medical appointments, vocational, recreational, educational activities in the community
• Completes all daily needed documentation such as behavioral data, token exchange, shift summaries, house charts, checklists, medication administration records, and incident reports
• Completes all housekeeping chores such as laundry, vacuuming, dusting, etc.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED is required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a valid driver's license and maintain responsible driving behaviors
• Ability to lift 50lbs
