Provides direct care, monitoring, assistance, and advocacy for behavioral health clients and support to professional staff by performing a wide variety of duties. Performs other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct care and monitoring for behavioral health clients.
- Assist and advocate for clients in collaboration with professional staff.
- Perform a wide range of duties as required by the role.
Qualifications
- Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally.
- Compassionate and understanding demeanor.
- Willingness to cross-train in other areas.
- Commitment to adherence to STHS’s Compliance Program and Code of Conduct, including compliance with all policies and procedures, attendance at required training, and immediate reporting of suspected compliance issues.
Education / Licensure
- High School diploma, GED, or higher education required.
- Must obtain Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI) certification within 90 days of starting unit orientation (training provided).
- Current BLS certification upon hire or acquire within 30 days of employment, and maintain it thereafter.
