Behavior Health Tech FT 7a-7:30p

Provides direct care, monitoring, assistance, and advocacy for behavioral health clients and support to professional staff by performing a wide variety of duties.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct care and monitoring for behavioral health clients
• Assist and advocate for clients as needed
• Support professional staff in daily operations
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally
• Compassionate and understanding demeanor
• Willingness to cross-train in other areas
• Commitment to adherence to STHS’s Compliance Program and Code of Conduct, including compliance with all policies and procedures, attendance at required training, and immediate reporting of suspected compliance issues

Education / Licensure

• High School diploma, GED, or higher education required
• Must obtain Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI) certification within 90 days of starting unit orientation (training provided)
• Current BLS certification upon hire or acquire within 30 days of employment, and maintain thereafter
